Tree Protection Plans

Tree protection plans are a proactive approach to managing tree health. Treatments that encourage tree vigor and/or prevent common tree problems may be prescribed in a tree protection plan.

Tree spraying is used to prevent leaf and needle diseases and fight off insects or mites that affect trees.

Soil Aeration

Soil aeration is used on trees with compacted soil. It is performed with high speed compressed air using the Airspade®, so as not to damage tree roots with metal shovels, etc.

Root Collar Excavation

Root collar excavations are done on trees planted too deep or buried with excess soil. The base of the tree (root collar) is excavated with high speed compressed air using the Airspade® and roots are pruned as necessary to prevent stem girdling roots.
